There is a lot to consider when thinking about design for your wedding. Lighting and design can drastically and dramatically change the mood of your venue with some well placed elements. The following is a list of things to think about before coming in for a consultation.
Date and Venue
Possibly very obvious, but still very important. Designs are not only tailored to you, but to your venue as well! Overall designs can vary dramatically, just like venue spaces do. Since the majority of brides book in advance, it is important to have your date solidified so that we know if we can accommodate your design on your date.
Style
Do you want your wedding to have understated elegance, or over the top opulence? Do you want a hip night club feel, or the atmosphere of a fairy-like wonderland? Having a general idea of what you want your venue to look like is a key part in coming up with the final design.
Inspiration
Inspiration for your wedding can come from anywhere- from magazines and images on-line, to a favorite pair of earrings or a vintage dress. Bringing images or items to your consultation that speak to you can really help us figure out not only what you want your wedding to feel like, but your individual style as well!
Colors
Because we use LED lighting, you have your choice of over 1 million different colors! If you have a particular color that you want us to match, simply bring in a color swatch for us to use. Also, think in terms of mixing and matching colors as well- two different colors can help add more dimension and layers into your design.
Ask Questions
You should never feel like you can't ask your design company questions. Questions about our experience, our previous designs, our equipment are encouraged- as well as any other questions you can think of!
